Steve graduated from Athens State University in Athens, AL earning his bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies in 1998. Prior to becoming an agent, Steve served as an Alabama State Correctional Officer for 12 years. He was the Assistant Scout Master in his sons’ Boy Scout troop both in Alabama and here in Illinois. He and his wife Kristi have been very involved in Catholic Engaged Encounter since shortly after they were married 21 years ago. Steve continues to volunteer in his parish as a lector, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, and as a Lay Ecclesial Minister. Steve lives in Breese with his wife Kristi and their sons, Samuel and Nicholas. Steve is also an amateur woodworker and Kristi is a professional genealogist and the secretary for the diocesan newspaper, the Messenger. Please take time to meet Steve, you'll be very glad you did.
